This was the start of a tradition that has been passionately kept alive to this very day.
This vineyard gave birth to a generation of epic red wines
Grandfather Valentino's first steps were inextricably linked to one vineyard: the “Ruc di Gnoc”, which means “stony hill” in the local dialect.
The vineyard is 1.5 hectares large and is perched on top of Ome’s rolling hills. Difficult to access and cultivate.
Only a few bottles had been produced at this point but artistic collaborations already had an important role: the first few bottle labels were designed by the Franciacorta painter Giulio Mottinelli. This marked the start of a tradition that has been passionately kept alive to this day.
